IGGS Year 9/10 students had an amazing day around IGGS Year 9/10 students had an amazing day around Ipswich visiting farms and meeting the incredible people that run them! As always - the farmers are super passionate about what they do and gave the students a wonderful insight into their innovative business ideas and the hard work it took to achieve success at farming 👩🏼‍🌾🐓🌳
Amazing days on K’gari for Nambour State College Amazing days on K’gari for Nambour State College undertaking their LCT excursion!  Students investigated issues at a variety of habitats and looked at impacts of tourism on island. Amazing experiences for all 🥰🥰
Year 11 Geographers from PBC SHS enjoyed an awesom Year 11 Geographers from PBC SHS enjoyed an awesome day up Tallebudgera Valley investigating issues along the Tallebudgera Creek for their Ecological Hazards field work! We sampled conditions in the upper and lower sections of the creek and collected some interesting data 👩🏼‍🔬🌞🌿
Year 10 lads from MBBC had an awesome day out on t Year 10 lads from MBBC had an awesome day out on the central GC beaches for their Environmental Change & Management unit. We used Palm Beach as our main study site, then looked at issues & management strategies at other beaches along the coast 🏝🏨🚃
Mountain Creek SHS Senior Geography students enjoy Mountain Creek SHS Senior Geography students enjoyed a spectacular 3 days on K’gari (Fraser Island) collecting field data for their LCT unit! We visited many of the must see places, collected a huge amount of information and had an amazing time together 🥰🏝🚌
Straddie was the destination of choice for the awe Straddie was the destination of choice for the awesome senior Geography students from Lowood SHS! We collected data from Main & Cylinder Beach, visited the Gorge Walk, Brown Lake and The Minjerribah Museum! The students displayed the right attitude on all occasions and we all created some awesome memories together 🤙🏼😍

Sheldon College Senior geography students enjoyed Sheldon College Senior geography students enjoyed a day of field work on their amazing campus, as an alternative to their Covid-modified camp. As was expected - under the tutelage of @damien.durham - students successfully undertook a variety of investigations on various habitats existing around the school! Always a pleasure to collaborate with people doing amazing things in geography 🌏🌦🌱
Year 12 Geography students from King’s Christian Year 12 Geography students from King’s Christian College enjoyed a day in the sun along the southern Gold Coast beaches! The students endured some crazy hot weather to collect some fantastic field data they will use in their assessment task for the Land Cover Transformation unit! Students enjoyed the day sampling at two study sites at Palm Beach☀️🏖

Although down on numbers, we had enthusiasm on our side as we ventured along the Bremer River 👩🏼‍🔬💦🌳

We takes to farmers from an organic farm, an emu farm and a lime/ olive farm! The weather was perfect and we even got to plant some lime trees! 🌱🍈🐦

The Glennie School Year 10 geography students had The Glennie School Year 10 geography students had a wicked day in the mangroves, undertaking field-work for Environmental Change & Management! We found six different types of mangroves and sis like transects and quadrat investigations! 😀🤓🌱

Students conducted interviews and explored all investigated aspects that enhance or detract from liveability 🤓🎠🏡

This incredible area has an exceptional indigenous history, and unique rainforest environment. Students enjoyed learning about both at the Dandabah section of the National Park
